Posting fic is easy enough. Use this basic template for the top portion:

That helps everyone to know the basics of the fic so they know if it will be something that interests them. Afterwards you can just copy/paste the fic directly below it inside of an LJ-cut or you can post a link to an outside source that hosts your fic such as fanfiction.net.
