The End of the World

One of the darkest parts of a relationship is separation. Most dark is the final form of separation: here we shall talk about what would happen if one of them died within the relationship.
Before we start, the normal rules with coping and grieving don't quite fit our neurotic pairing, so we shall abandon those theories.
Robin (Dick in our case but anymore any of them) would...fall apart, as someone else close to him left him behind. He'd push further behind his obsessions, particularly in the case of someone assassinated her (part of the game as you know). And as for natural causes, wouldn't have quite the same effect but it would ravage his slim coping mechanisms (unless it's a disease and he would work for a cure. He could do it. Has the background training). Could be an impetus to Nightwing, although he may keep the Robin identity in respect for her. But either identity, wouldn't matter: he would most likely turn into a shell.
I can see Starfire do her best to help him and it would be an interesting distraction for Dick (as he used women to fix his neurosis, i.e. the wedding to Starfire).
But would he finally cope? Given his track record, it would be a rather long recovery.
Raven would either collapse further into her shell or finally free Trigon and allow him to use her as an outlet. She would no longer care as such but for the honor of Robin and the emotions she had experienced with him, she would most likely become the shell for the safety of everyone and everyone he protected.
In terms of obsessions, I think she would touch her feelings she adapted from him and Trigon's influence if he was killed in the game. Then slip into either role after the fact. There is a slim chance she would feel enough and use her powers to at least make Robin, a soul body like she was when her evil body was destroyed. But the question would be how deep she would be in the shell before she would come to that realization.
If not into the shell, maybe relying on Cyborg as a possible proxy (BB certainly not, because of the residual depth of the prior relationship) although the brother-sister relationship, her grief, and the desire to not unleash Trigon would temper any possible feelings.
Now would it be the end of the world? Possibly in Raven's case.
Either way the world would stop with either one and their grief. Robin, it would be his. Raven, both hers and quite possibly the actual one.
Frightening how love can lead to that.
