Robin/Raven Shippers

Ive put this off for quite a while now and I think it just needs to be added at this point. A new rule has been added:

When posting graphic previews, make certain that your previews include Robin &/or Raven. Posting previews of characters other than the ones a community is specific to is rude.

I love that people are posting icons, and for the mostpart the rules on them have been followed. I had to delete one post of icons because they were Terra centric. Even the few icons that had Raven in them, had her in the background of a Terra icon.

I understand that changing preview pictures is a hassle, but alot of communities require it and we are now one of them. Its understandable if previews have one icon from the batch that doesnt fit within the rules, but it will remain heavily preffered that all the previews fit the rules of this community. I just think that posting an advert in a Robin/Raven community and now having Robin &/or Raven in the previews is rude.

This rule will need to be followed from today onward. Keep your email notifications on for the posts you make. If you disobey the rules, a warning is posted as a comment before the entry is deleted. Once the problem is corrected, the post can be reposted. Objections to the rule can be discussed in the comments of this post in a civil manner if they exist.

Everyone welcome estrella_blanca to the moderation team. After some serious lameness on LJ's notification's part we now have her to run our iContests :D Be on the lookout for those!

Ficprompts will begin again on Monday. Im still looking at a timeline for these. I would like to do them weekly, but as I nearly always work on Mondays now, I worry I will continue to forget to post them. We will see.

If you have an idea for an event or contest you would like to see in the community post and let us know!

No one entered the last Icontest, so it has been cancelled. I didnt post a promptfic this week and I wont be posting one next week either. I also wont be holding the icontest for this week.

Both will return next month. Ive been feeling ill and have too many things in RL and around other online avenues to devote time to them with how ill Ive been feeling. Next week I have more hours at work than normal, so I wont have as much time to myself to mess with the online activties.

I hope to see you all participating in the upcoming ones that are held.

Once again, these will only be held through the end of the year. The last two weeks of the year I will look back at participation and they will either continue with the new year, or the community will go into a permanent dormant state. I will judge then if the revival was successful or not. Just a heads up.

And now I am off to find anti-sniffle meds. *wave* Hope everyone else is avoiding the colds these tropical storm fronts are bringing in.

Your icons must feature Robin, Raven or Robin/Raven only. This is a Robin/Raven community, other characters are not promoted here and other ships in icons will be disqualified.

Do not post your icons anywhere until the results have been posted or you will be disqualified.

Your icons must be 100x100pixels and under 40KB in size.

Icons must follow the catagory themes or they will not be accepted. Please use the proper system when submitting your icons. Icons must be submitted to this post only. Comments are screened.

Your submissions should look like this. Make certain that your username is not in your link so that it will be secret until the contest has ended.
