[MOD] Looking for Moderator Assitance!

So, September has been busy and stressful for me. I just got promoted at work, Ive had zillions of hours and not enough time to sleep. Ive hardly had time for my own purposes as it is and it is clearly not going to be slowing down.

Ill begin posting fanfiction prompts again soon, though they may not continue to be weekly, alot of that depends on my schedule.

I am however looking for someone who wishes to take over the Icontests.
Applicants need the have/be the following:
→ Graphic savvy: as you will make the winner's banners
→ More timely than me: since you will need to post contest related posts on a set timeframe
→ Desire to moderate this community: Little moderation is really needed, but you will need to keep an eye out for things.
→ Ability to properly tag your entries! Im a huge stickler about this.

Icontests will work off of the schedule I had put in place that I havent been able to follow yet. I want the contest going on often enough to keep activity going, but spaced out far enough that this community doesnt become nothing but an Icontest.

If I get no applicants, the Icontest will be removed temporarily or permanently depending on my schedules.

Anyone interested in taking over the Icontests, comment to this post with a little bit about why you wish to take them over. Comments will be screened.

I'd like to volunteer! However I'm not too sure how my schedule will be looking (SemBreak really soon) until November. Although I think I can go online to post challenges, voting posts, etc.

I've had experience modding icontest comms and as for banner making, I can usually make it as long as the participants provide the resources they used.

0.0 Yeah.. so I just saw this post. It seriously just popped in my inbox like twenty minutes ago and I had come to the comm a few times and never had any replies and yet here it suddenly is with the old date and stuff. Weird.

Anyway, I would love it if you wanted to take the icontest over. It could continue or start fresh, your choice so it could be handled however you wanted it. It would basically be your baby. Your themes, your picture, your timeline, however you wanted to do it. The archive page would be up to you, and therefore deleted and remade. However, having an archive isnt required.. its how I do things.. but that doesnt mean everything else likes them. If its not your thing it can go away easily.

Oddly, my schedule is calming down a bit, but at this point I have no desire to run two challanges.. so Ill just go back to the promptfics next week.

Anyway, if you still would like to do this, let me know and Ill get you promoted and whatnot.

Yay~ I could make an archive post soon and start this Monday. Though since I live in a different timezone from most of the members, I'll need to adjust.

When it comes to time zone you dont have to worry as much. You can either just pick a timezone you can work around or be liberal with your times, its really up to you.

Ill go in now and delete the old Archive and add your permissions and such. :D
